Getting Back to the Drawing Board
After I had to give up my studio space due to the covid shutdowns, I decided it was time to get back to the drawing board – literally. I went back to plain paper and charcoal and started sketching. Here are my favorites:

Still Waters
My latest painting – I was going to call it “Still Waters,” but then a friend told me that it is so “Game of Thrones.” So, I never watched the series. Maybe I need to check it out…
Crow Dance
My latest painting: Crow Dance. Only took 3 months to finish :-). What drew me to paint these crows is the attitude and interaction between them. I like the ambiguity that I don’t actually know whether they are mating or fighting over food.
Crow Magic
It was so much fun making this painting, adding many layers of slightly translucent paint to build up the depth and subtle color tones.
