My latest abstract figure painting. It’s part of a series I’m working on called “Guardians of Forgotten Places”. They are inspired by photos I took of shadows.
I was curious what would happen if I painted the same bird multiple times with different techniques, colors and backgrounds. These are all painted in acrylic on watercolor paper.

My latest painting – I was going to call it “Still Waters,” but then a friend told me that it is so “Game of Thrones.” So, I never watched the series. Maybe I need to check it out…
My latest painting: Crow Dance. Only took 3 months to finish :-). What drew me to paint these crows is the attitude and interaction between them. I like the ambiguity that I don’t actually know whether they are mating or fighting over food.
